1st Easingwold Guides Enrol 8 new Guides

At 1st Easingwold Guides this week, Unit Leader Mrs Mary Whitwell enrolled lots of new Guides.  In front of their parents and the rest of the Unit, the eight girls (most of whom had been Brownies) were asked to make their Promise. Parents and other family members watched the ceremony, after which they had a cup of tea or coffee and ate some of the lovely buns and cakes on offer.  These had been made and brought along by the newly enrolled Guides. After organising the drinks and clearing up afterwards, the whole Unit played some games and sang a couple of songs.  A great time was had by all.
