“WRONG CLOTHES AT PATCHWORK RAISES OVER £60 FOR CHARITY!
Patchwork Private Children’s Daycare, a Nursery in Sutton on the Forest, spent last week wearing not only wrong trousers but entire wrong outfits for the whole week. This was in aid of the ‘Wallace and Gromit Wrong Trousers Day’ on 27th June 2008 which raises money to help sick children in hospitals and hospices throughout the UK. Staff and pupils wore wrong clothes for the week such as pyjamas, swimming trunks, princess and nurses outfits for a £1 donation. Additionally children baked delights such as peppermint creams, buns, crispy cakes and rocky road biscuits which were sold to parents. The end of the week concluded by announcing winners of the guess the number of sweets, and guess the number of bath bombs in the bottles! Fun was had by all and over £60 goes in the pot to this Children’s Charity.” Full Article Archived News View All...
