ANGELS MAGNIFICENT SEVEN!! EASINGWOLD ANGELS 6 HUNTINGTON LADIES 0

It was a seventh game in a row unbeaten in the league for the  ladies and the seventh hat-trick for striker Clara Lowther in her 23 appearances for the Angels that kept them in  top spot in the league with a comfortable victory over a much improved and spirited Huntington side.It took less than a minute for them to get off the mark when Emma Cockerill’s blistering run up the right and perfect cross was met with a great finish from Clara . Ten minutes later and a brilliant flick on by Liv Gillam from Kira Robinson’s pass fell perfectly for Clara to make it 2-0.The Angels were then guilty of missing a host of chances until Sophie Simpson made it three with a wonderful 25 yard strike. The second half continued much the same way and Lauren Shuttleworth scored goal number four with a smart finish after receiving a perfectly timed pass from Sophie. Clara grabbed her hat- trick from the penalty spot after Emma Cockerill was brought down in the box but she saved the best of her goals till last and finished things off with a great left foot strike from the edge of the  area with five minutes remaining. It wasn't the best performance from the ladies this season but the defence barely put a foot wrong and the most important thing was to get three more vital points. Clara and Sophie took joint honours in the player of the match.‏Team Charlotte Simpson, Kira Robinson, Mari Palmer, Becky Cattley, Sarah Robson, Liv Gillam, Sophie Simpson, Lauren Shuttleworth, Emma Cockerill, Emma Fawcett, Clara Lowther. Subs Beth Bradbury, Hannah Wade, Vicki Robinson, Emma Douglas,
