Beaver Camp
New rules for Beaver Scouts (aged 6 to 8) means that they can now enjoy camping. Keen to take advantage of this, Kyle Valley Beavers under the expert guidance of Leader Lee Hardy set off on a hike across the fields from Tollerton to camp in a field in Youlton last weekend. The 18 Beavers had a fantastic time with activities such as orienteering, bushcraft, a late night campfire, an early morning nature ramble, T-shirt painting, loads of games and of course an overnight experience in a tent! Well done to Lee and to the army of parent helpers and leaders who made it all happen and many thanks to Mark and Lorrette Horsley for lending their very large back garden!
