“Being Pranked” in Easingwold
There were some very strange goings on in Easingwold last Monday. My daughter Freya and her friend Jessica Pears were being “Pranked” by Sam and Mark from CBBC. Jessica had written to the BBC and asked if she could be on a children’s TV show. The BBC agreed to come to Easingwold to interview her and asked if she would bring a friend. She very kindly asked Freya. They were interviewed and filmed one afternoon and told they would hear from the BBC by October, if they were going to be invited on a show. However, the BBC very shortly afterwards contacted me and Katie, Jess’s mum, and asked if we would agree to them being on Sam and Mark’s Wind Up Show. And so, last Monday there were two men in very dubious disguises, knocking on our doors and appearing in very strange places! The girls go to Manchester in September to be filmed in the studio and the show will be on air early next year. So look out for it to see what they got up to. Just a note of appreciation to everyone in Easingwold who helped make this happen, especially Clarks on Long Street, Yum Yums and the staff at the Library. Full Article Archived News View All...
