Easingwold Netball Club
The AGM took place last week and we were able to review the season just finished. All in all we had a very successful and enjoyable season and all agreed that the move indoors into the Games Hall for training and most of our matches was a good one and we are looking forward to playing in this great facility again next season. We didn't have to cancel any of our home matches because of poor weather which made life much easier for the organisers!Of our 16 matches we won 11 and lost 5, enabling us to finish an accomplished 3rd in the 4th Division of York and District League. As a result we should stay in the 4th Division. The Club Awards were also announced and congratulations were offered to Hannah Kelsey (left) as Player of the Season, winning most Man of the Match awards and Becki Caygill (right) as Most Consistent Player, having gathered he highest number of Man of the Match votes throughout the season. We are all looking forward to next season when hope to see lots of old faces and we would welcome any new faces interested in playing – keep watching The Advertiser for further news.
