EASINGWOLD SHORT MAT BOWLING CLUB

Easingwold S.M.B.C. members played their singles competition at the weekend which is the last competition to be played in their season’s calender. Twenty four members played in eight groups of three, the winner of each group earning a place in the quarter finals, These quarter finals were keenly fought games resulting in the following four players reaching the semi finals:- Jenny Toase, David Brown, Audrey Wood, and Sally Roocroft.In the semi finals Audrey won her game against Jenny, Sally Roocroft won through against David.The final between Audrey and Sally was as close as it can get, the score was nine shots each as they went into the last end, Sally became this years winner by winng the last end by one shot, an extremely good match to watch.Pictured are Sally and Audrey receiving the winner and Runner up Trophies
