Easingwold Town FC Under 14s
After a long, hard season, Easingwold Town under 14s have bounced straight back into division one at the first attempt as division two champions, winning 14 and drawing two of their 16 league games. They also reached the league cup final and lost a thrilling game 2-1 after extra time against division one runners-up Poppleton.Coach Chris Lawrence paid tribute to his team after the cup final: “The team has played some really good football this season and have sored over 100 goals in the league. To go undefeated in the league is a credit to every player and, hopefully, we can keep the squad together, push on and challenge for the title next season in division one.”Appreciation goes to Ian Holdsworth, Mark Todd and Dave Adams, who have assisted with the coaching this season and also to our Coach Chris Lawrence.
