Helperby Dance School’s ‘Nutcracker’
Pupils of Evangelina School of Dance, based in Helperby, recently staged a production of ‘The Nutcracker’ which was performed at King James’s School, Knaresborough. The performance was dedicated to Evie Sugden who died 10 years ago aged just 11 months. She had been born with Krabbe Leukodystrophy, a very rare genetic condition. The 41 pupils who participated in the show helped to raise £610.00 which will be shared between Martin House Hospice and Operation Smile. Principal Claire Sugden stated, “This was a wonderful opportunity for my pupils to experience the excitement of performing for an audience. They all worked extremely hard, and I am thrilled that we were able to raise so much money for two very worthwhile charities.” Full Article Archived News View All...
