Huby CE Primary School Choir sing out their festive hearts!
37 children from Huby CE Primary School form the school’s choir. From September, their efforts had been focused on the national Young Voices concert which took place on Thursday 26th November. The children became word perfect singing a medley of songs, ranging from pop, classical, gospel, jazz & sign language, even singing in Latin and African. The two hour concert, held at the Sheffield Arena, involved 4000 primary school children from across the Yorkshire area creating the choir for singing stars such as All Angels and V V Brown. The choir’s desire to sing continues and on 2nd December, they put on a further performance to the local village residents of the Wednesday Club at Huby Methodist Church. They were joined by classes 3 and 4 (ages 7-11) to sing Christmas Carols and other festive songs creating a joyous and lively start to Advent. Full Article Archived News View All...
