JUDY THOMPSON REACHES A MILESTONE IN SCOUTING

Many congratulations to Judy Thompson of Tholthorpe who was recently presented with her “30 years in Scouting” certificate.  It was presented by the Easingwold District Commissioner, Martin Wintermeyer, at the recent Cub and Beaver camp at snowball Plantation.  Judy said:  “No more camping on hard tent floors for me”.  So we’ll see you again at Snowball again next year then Judy!  Seriously, Judy has been a stalwart at Kyle Valley Scout Group for longer than anyone else can remember and until very recently was its Group Scout Leader.  So very well done and appreciation to Judy for all your hard work for Scouting.
