OULSTON OPEN GARDENS
Over 150 visitors enjoyed a selection of the wonderful gardens tucked away behind the houses of Oulston. The differing styles of the gardens and the views of the glorious surrounding countryside provided inspiration to fellow gardeners and there was a brisk trade at the plant stalls. Once again the visitors and residents were entertained by NOMADS, Norton and Malton Amateur Dramatic Society, who put on the hilarious ‘Last Tango in Oulston’. Tea and delicious home-made cakes rounded off the afternoon. The event raised £1000 for Village Hall funds and the organisers would like to express our appreciation to all those who contributed.
