Hope Church Easingwold Baptism on Easter Sunday...

You may have seen a mysterious tank on the Galtres Centre lawn on Easter Sunday and wondered what on earth it was there for. One passer by suggested it was a hot tub!

In fact, it was the baptistry of Hope Church Easingwold. At just after 5pm, as part of their Easter Sunday service, Christina Jarvey was baptized by full immersion.

Baptism is a picture of being buried (as you go under the water) and being raised to new life (coming back out of it) with the Lord Jesus, so is a perfect fit for the Easter weekend.
