Volunteering Fayre...

This month’s edition of Business Briefcase is somewhat of a double header.

On Saturday 22 April 2023, the Easingwold and District volunteering fayre took place in the Galtres Centre. If you missed it, it is not too late to volunteer with the 16 local organizations who had a stand. Volunteers are always needed and welcomed for:

The Galtres Centre, EDCCA (Easingwold District Community Care Association), Easingwold Library, Easingwold Lions, Friends of St Monica’s Hospital, COZIE, Guides, Scouts, Air Training Corps, Youth Council, Green Spaces, parkrun, Huby and Sutton Show, Alne Street Fayre, NYC Adult Learning, North & East Yorks Group of Endurance.

The many attendees (see photos in the Easingwold Advertiser) were able to look at the displays and leaflets. They could ask questions about what volunteers can do to assist each organisation, some providing a sweet treat or a quiz to win a prize.

The positive and friendly atmosphere was helped by delicious cakes and drinks provided by the wonderful volunteer catering team at the Galtres Centre.
