Musical Evening

This evening organized by the Parish Church’s You and Me Team - who provide a varied programme of events throughout the year for all-comers - proved to be excellent.

We were treated to a delightful evening of music based on a Spring theme which starred the church’s own talented organist, Peter Smith, Alex Cranfield who has an amazing voice, and the multi-talented Wilson Family.

Peter began the evening by playing the ever popular “Toccata in D minor” by JS Bach, which was followed by a variety of pieces featuring the cuckoo, and concluded with “Sortie in E flat” by Lefebure Wely, which reminded some of us of fairground music.
