The Easingwold Advertiser & Weekly News is a family-owned paper for Easingwold and the surrounding area

Another busy month for the Easingwold WI, with no meeting in August, but a trip to Skipton with a canal boat trip, with afternoon tea, and free time in the lovely town of Skipton.
Some of the group went to the Castle, some did the delightful woodland walk and some shopped.
A few of the women also visited the pub! Most had ice creams as the whole group made their way back to the coach after a really lovely day out.
Business was conducted online, with items from the newsletter.
Those wanting hard copy newsletters must let Jenny know, and pay, at the September meeting.
A trip to Durham Christmas Festival in December is something to look forward to. And the usual events, workshops and lunches are now available to book.
The WI’s next Garden Club meeting is in the Cricket Club, on the second Monday evening in September, with a speaker Ben Preston from Cliff Bank Nursery.
Non members are welcome to attend.
The group has had a lovely walk around Crayke, with lunch at the Bakehouse.
