On Tuesday at about 8.00am, a large Yorkshire Water main burst at the Manor Road end of Church Hill. The water lifted tarmac and paving.
The road was flooded as far as Uppleby, all over Manor Road, and down into Spring Street. At 9.30 the water was still flowing. The situation is being handled and is a top priority for fixing.
