Easingwold Camera Club...

Our visiting speaker this week was Christine Shepherd from York.

This time last year she spent two weeks photographing landscapes and architecture travelling through the Isles of Lewis and Harris in Scotland.

Although separately named they are joined together.

Their geography couldn’t be any greatly different. Lewis is flatter and Harris more mountainous and dotted with lochs.

An unusual time of year to visit the northwest of Scotland?

The area has become much more popular with visitors, not just from the UK and Europe but worldwide.

So much so Chris and her husband Patrick couldn’t get accommodation until then.
