A frosty morning with heavy ground at the Hopgrove Playing Fields, saw the Hawks take on Huntington in the second round of the York FA Cup, in what proved to be a very physical game.

Some early Huntington chances were dealt with calmly by Dawid, Tom and Morgan in the Easingwold defence with Rory in goal making some great saves, but a sudden break-through from Huntington led to a lucky goal just trickling over the line. 1-0 to Huntington.

Easingwold pushed back hard with Will and Sam connecting well with Rhys to create several chances.

A well-hit low cross to the back-post from Bobby came off the Huntington defender to make it one goal each.

Just a few moments later another cross-in from Bobby with a calm finish by Rhys took the score to 2-1 to Easingwold.
