EASINGWOLD AND DISTRICT FLOWER CLUB...

The first meeting in January 2024 took the form of an In-house Flower Demonstration.

Three members of the committee volunteered to create one design for fellow members to observe, take note and consider if that was an arrangement they would like to replicate themselves in the next Practie Session in February.

Firstly, Beryl Ramsay demonstrated creating a design to fit into a large card which could be for someone's birthday or another celebration.

Katharine Adams ably assisted her by describing to the audience what plant material Beryl was using and where she placed it in a small dish within the open card.

Short stems of box or other small leaved evergreen leaves were the basis and formed the outline.

Beryl then added five deep pink tulips, some jonquils and finally five deep pink roses to complete her design.
