The 29th Annual Easingwold Open Triples Short Mat Bowling Competition took place on Saturday 7th February playing for the Jack Freeman Trophy and prize money of £90, £60 and £30 for the first three places.
A record entry of 40 teams (120 bowlers) of all abilities and ages, from all over North Yorkshire as well as Durham, West Yorkshire and three teams from Norfolk travelled to the Galtres Centre to take part in a full day’s bowling in the Sports Hall.
