Easingwold Hawks ...

Boys, Sunday 7 January 2024, kick-off 11am.

Easingwold Hawks U12s hosted York City Boys in the North Riding County Cup on Sunday morning, in a hugely entertaining game.

Easingwold started the match brightly but York soon took control of things in the opening minutes with some neat passing out from the back.

The young Hawks stood firm and Tom, Morgan and Dawid defended gallantly to hold off the early pressure with City playing some great football.

York did break the deadlock with a simple pass that split Easingwold’s defence and was calmly finished by City’s attacker to take the lead.
