Millfield Parkrun turns Red ...

Millfield parkrun on Saturday 13th January joined many UK parkruns in supporting the Comic Relief Winter Appeal.

Participants and volunteers were encouraged to wear Red and make a donation to the appeal to help fund local support all over the UK.

A frosty Millfields with the bright winter sun greeted the 197 finishers who were headed home by regular local Patrick Good and Jenny Featherstone visiting from Sheffield for her third parkrun at Millfield.

Six first time parkrunners made their debut and hopefully the first of many parkruns, well done to Isla Vitty, Nichola Smith, Richard Marsden, Roharna Vitty, Sarah Goacher, Sarah Marsden.
