Easingwold’s Summer of Music is in full swing, and last Saturday’s event proved to be one of the season’s highlights.
The town marketplace was alive with rhythm, energy, and enthusiasm as the Kaminaro Taiko Drummers set up in the Buttercross, delivering a captivating performance that thrilled the packed crowd.
Blessed with warm summer weather, audiences gathered early to secure a good spot for this increasingly popular event.
The Kaminaro Drummers, known for their theatrical and dynamic style, did not disappoint.
Combining the precision of traditional Japanese drumming with modern flair, the group dazzled spectators with a powerful blend of choreography and rhythm, moving seamlessly around their large drums in perfect unison and timing.
Their performance featured a diverse selection of pieces, enriched with the occasional use of cymbals and cowbells, adding depth and texture to the thunderous bass and sharp snare tones.
The result was an exhilarating musical experience that was met with enthusiastic applause throughout.
Based in York, Kaminaro Taiko has been performing since 2009.
Beyond their stage presence, the group is passionate about sharing their love for this energetic and engaging art form.
