Town Band’s Youngsters Steal The Show In ‘Summer Of Music’ Concert

On Sunday 13 July Easingwold Town Band’s young learners, under their conductor Kyle Sherwin, kicked off the first of the Band’s two ‘Summer of Music’ concerts in the Market Place with an ambitious half-hour set which included two ABBA favourites, a Disney medley and a Madness ska arrangement.

For some of the children this was their first public performance, though you’d never have guessed it!

Supported by players in the Town Band, their confidence and obvious enjoyment earned them much applause from the large audience.
