Easingwold U3a Geology Group Uncovers The Secrets Beneath Nidderdale

Members of the Easingwold & District u3a Discovering Geology Group enjoyed another fascinating day exploring the dramatic limestone landscape of Nidderdale last week, proving once again that learning really can be an adventure.

Escaping the summer heat of the Vale of York, the group headed into the cooler hills above Pateley Bridge to discover an area whose geology tells a remarkable story stretching back more than 300 million years.
