Visit to Constable Burton Tulip festival...

Myself and the other guests boarded the Morse Coaches minibus as part of the EDCCA trip to go and see the Tulips and grounds at Constable Burton near Leyburn.

It was a cooler day as we arrived at the venue, so we took advantage of the tea tent on the lawn to have a warming cuppa and slice of delicious cake.

Three of us set off together to stroll around the grounds admiring the beautiful selection of bulbs and other plants. We were able to meander amongst the floral beds and along the paths admiring the labelled Tulip varieties.

For those that wanted you were able to pre order your bulbs to arrive later in the year.

Not only were there refreshments inside the tea tent but a selection of cut Tulip flowers to admire, some beautifully handcrafted items and artwork.
