Easingwold Town's Young Heroes Light Up Finals Day ...

Saturday 3rd May, 2025

Poppleton Finals Day was set ablaze with passion and pride as Easingwold Town’s youth teams roared into action. None, however, shone brighter than the sensational Under-7 Hawks and Harriers, playing their first-ever season of spring football together.

The Hawks, who soared through Division 4 and battled their way into Division 2 this spring football season, came into the final full of belief and fire. Facing a fierce Fulford side who finished second in the division, the Hawks delivered a truly electric performance.

With the crowd roaring them on, Jack, Cooper, Charlie, and Myles each found the back of the net in style. Their sublime passing, relentless battling spirit, and unbreakable teamwork left Fulford stunned — and the Hawks' fans in dreamland. A huge win, a huge statement: the Hawks had truly arrived!

Not to be outdone, the Harriers—Easingwold’s newest young squad—completed their fairy tale. Entering the league late, learning on the run, and building minute by minute, they saved their best for last. Up against Division 5 leaders Brooklyn, the Harriers unleashed a fearless, flowing brand of football that belied their new-kid status.

Rob, Leo, Rocko, and Rowan all netted superb goals as the Harriers swept aside their opponents with a performance full of grit, determination, and dazzling teamwork.
