Pickleball Championships ...

Iain Fraser, a pickleball player from the Easingwold Pickleball Club, recently won the silver medal in the England National Pickleball Singles Championships.

It was held at the Dan Maskell Tennis Centre in Loughborough in early May 2025, where he played in the over 60’s category.

He had to play four matches in the first round and topped his league. Iain then fought his way through to the final, having won the quarter and semi finals.

This was Iain’s first ever singles pickleball event, so to reach the final was an incredible achievement.
