On Sunday 28th September, we gathered at Helperby Village Hall to celebrate two remarkable milestones: David Theakstone’s 80th birthday and 50 years of trading as Theakstone Engineering.

The event was attended by many friends, family, and loyal customers - some of whom have supported David since the very beginning.

It was a joyful afternoon filled with memories, laughter, and heartfelt appreciation.

David gave an interesting speech reflecting on his life and career, and the evening concluded with a sit-down hot meal enjoyed by all.
