Yorkshire Air Museum visit - Elvington...

Members of Easingwold Men’s Shed enjoyed a day at the Yorkshire Air Museum this October.

Volunteer guide Taff Morgan gave an interesting talk on the history of the base. He took the group through history, starting in the base’s early days as a working RAF facility in the Second World War, to the present-day museum.

Men’s Sheds encourage men to come together and enjoy connection, conversation and connection. It is helping to combat social isolation while using practical skills to support projects in the local community.
