OPEN AIR SERVICE!...

We assembled last Sunday afternoon in the Priory Garden for the annual open-air service organized by Christians Together Around Easingwold (CTAE, formerly CTED).

We were welcomed and the service was led by Rev’d Lottie Cranfield, Associate Minister at the Parish Church, who introduced our guest speaker: Rev’d Ian Birkinshaw, Rector of Huntington.

She opened with a special prayer for the late Queen Elizabeth, and the royal family, with particular mention of our new King Charles III.

We sang the hymn “Let us Build a House”, before Lottie led prayers, and Janet Crane from the Easingwold Community Church read Psalm 133; this was followed by the hymn “Brother, Sister Let Me Serve You”, after which Janet read from John’s Gospel.......
