We live in difficult times. Our ears are full of cries for help from every quarter. It’s easy to become desensitized, immune to the white noise of constant pleas. British people and particularly Yorkshire folk are by their nature, caring. Aloof maybe, gruff sometimes but we’d do anything for a worthy cause, It is commendable. It’s why ‘Caring’ is one of our five guiding principles in Scouting along with integrity, respect, belief and cooperation….
