Fantastic Feasts – and where to find them
On Monday 25 April St John’s Catholic Hall, Easingwold was once again scene of a wonderful celebration, following so many months of isolation. The Saint Vincent de Paul Society (SVP) arranged a Mass followed by Lunch in honour of their long-time member, Mary Melling, who sadly died at the New Year.
Mary worked tirelessly for the SVP, which supports people experiencing poverty and disadvantage. As well as praying and fundraising, the group looks to combat loneliness, and they visit the sick and housebound taking comfort and friendship…
