Generous Coop Grant
On 25th November, Easingwold Green Spaces Group received a substantial grant of £8,522.96 from the Co-op to undertake work in Millfields Woods. This was a most generous addition to our funds and much appreciated by all our members.
We intend to use the money to create a log seating area within the circle of walnut trees and will be adding a bench to the woodland. We will also be using the generous donation to hold events in the woodland, the first will hopefully be a coppicing day. This will enable us to bring another area of hazel back into active management as well as providing a fun day working in our lovely woodland. All welcome, please get in touch if you’d like to join us….
